Crochet Dishcloth Pattern Instructions:
Color 1 = Aqua Blue (inside body of the dishcloth)
Color 2 = Ivory (border)
Stitch Multiple = 2 +2
- Using Color 1, ch 30, turn
- Row 1 – dc into the 3rd ch from the hook, sc in the next, *dc into the next ch, sc into the next ch*, repeat between * * until the end of the row ending on a sc. [28 stitches]
- ch 2 and turn
- Row 2 – dc into the first st, sc into the next st, *dc in to next st, sc into next st*, repeat between * * until the end of the row ending on a sc [28]. ch 2 and turn.
- Rows 3- end – Repeat Row 2 until the dishcloth measures about 7″ – 8″ square (approx 26-28 rows)
- Last row – Ch 1 and turn, sl-st into first st, *hdc into next, sl-st into next*, repeat between * * until the end of the row [28] – This will even out the edge of the washcloth.
- Finish with a chain, cut, pull through and secure
- Weave in all loose ends with a yarn needle
