Abbreviations:
- ch – chain
- hdc – half double crochet
- st – stitch
- tbl – the back loop
- sl-st – slip stitch

Pattern Instructions:
- ch 27, turn [12″ long]
- Row 1 – hdc into the 3rd ch from hook and each ch there after. [25 stitches] ch 2 and turn
- Row 2 – hdc into tbl on each st [25]. ch 2 and turn
- Repeat Row 2 until the hat measures about 16″ long [head circumference – 5″]
- Fold in half and sl-st the first and last row together to create a tube
- Tie off end
- Using the yarn needle, weave loosely to cinch one end together
- Add a faux fur pom-pom to the top of the cinched end [optional]
- Weave in all loose ends with a darning/yarn needle
